Keystone High School's Community

Independent study doesn't mean isolation.

It's important to us that you have the option to be part of a thriving learning community.

The Keystone community gives you opportunity to:

  • Interact with teachers and peers. In addition to learning course content, you can exchange ideas and get to know Keystone students in other parts of the world.
  • Get involved in extracurricular activities. You can join the Keystone Photography Club or write for The Keystone Connection student newspaper.
  • Connect in various ways. The Keystone Connection, a school-wide newsletter called KeyNotes, and the Discussion Boards in the online learning environment all offer avenues in which you can connect with other students.
  • Keystone Virtual Graduation — This June, Keystone will be hosting the second annual Keystone Virtual Graduation, available to all students who completed their graduate requirements between May 24th, 2008 and May 22nd, 2009. Students will be presented with a special graduation speech from the director of Keystone National High School, Tim Magner as well as congratulatory messages from many Keystone teachers, and the ability to chat with other Keystone graduates via Elluminate. Students will be notified via email and mail when the Virtual Graduation is available for viewing.

Connect with Keystone—in person.

Keystone also attends educational conferences and events across the country every year. Meet representatives from Keystone who will answer your questions, show you course materials, and demo our courses for you.

"Attending Keystone helps me stay in touch with kids in the U.S. and has made the experience even better."
